Discover Health! Adventures in Learning
The Discover Health! Adventures in Learning is a dynamic program, led by health educators, featuring interactive, engaging health education classes on a 38 foot mobile classroom. Students learn important health concepts that include healthy eating, exercising, building self-esteem and preventing substance abuse. Focusing on targeting youth at various schools in the Tri-State area, this organization also utilizes the Word Of Mouth program. This tobacco prevention program is designed to prevent children and adolescents from using tobacco and becoming addicted to nicotine. This is accomplished by increasing the student knowledge of tobacco and refusal skills.
