Tobacco is a powerfully addictive drug. Every day, thousands of children try their first cigarette or become addicted to tobacco – an addiction that could one day end their lives prematurely.
In Hamilton County, more than 23 percent of adults are addicted to cigarettes and almost 5 percent use smokeless tobacco. Many special groups are affected by tobacco including those that are chemically dependent and pregnant women.
The Hamilton County Tobacco-Free Partnership is working hard to help Hamilton County residents become tobacco-free. We offer a variety of services:
- Partner Cessation Programs for Youth and Adults include:
- The Ohio Tobacco Prevention Foundation Quit Line, 1- 800-QUIT-NOW.
